Bulletproof Artist Management & Booking started as a small in-house agency at 800-Prime CD in 1994. David Seitz, owner of Prime CD, hired Patty Romanoff to deal with odd jobs at the label. Patty, a Rutgers graduate, spent the 7 years prior working as Office Manager, then Human Resource Director, for a mid-size marketing company in New York City. David concluded that if the label artists toured more, more CDs would sell. After only 2 weeks at the label, David asked Patty if she would like to book the artists and make a commission.
